Water is Life\, Water is Light "My recent trip to Standing Rock was life changing. A week after the election\, I found myself in the midst of a prayer for the water. I had already been making music about water for a long time\, and the experience in North Dakota brought a realization that the music was my form of prayer\, a communication with the spirit of water\, our oldest ancestor. I started assembling the songs and pieces into a musical journey of water\, from somewhere out in space\, across eons of time\, to our world\, through the creation of plants\, and into our biology and consciousness."
