Composer-violinist Michi Wiancko will perform a set of original works for electro-acoustic violin, incorporating effects pedals and looping techniques. ABOUT MICHI: Michi is a local musician as well as the director of Antenna Cloud Farm, a culturally expansive music festival, artists retreat, creative institute, and community partnership organization based in Gill, MA. An Associate Professor of Music at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Michi performs with Silkroad and Rhiannon Giddens, as well as with countless artists across numerous genres and styles. Described by Gramophone Magazine as an "alluring soloist with heightened expressive and violinistic gifts," Michi gave debut concerto performances with both the Los Angeles and New York Philharmonic orchestras and has released critically acclaimed solo albums on both the New Amsterdam Records and Naxos labels. @antennacloudfarm
