The community is invited to join the Franklin County Community Development Corporation (Franklin County CDC) as they reveal the Racial Justice Reflective Journey, an interactive program that will assist employees and employers as they develop and maintain more equitable workplaces and begin conversations about how race plays out in professional spaces.
The event takes place August 8, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Greenfield Community College’s second floor dining room. It features The Performance Project’s First Generation Ensemble, a youth theater group from Springfield.
The Racial Justice Reflective Journey is an initiative that began in 2022 and aims to be a resource for employees, employers, and business owners as they work to become more welcoming to non-white employees, customers, and clients in Franklin County. The Reflective Journey was developed by a team led by Traci Talbert, the Racial Justice Community Engagement Leader at the Franklin County CDC. During the event, Talbert will demonstrate how the Reflective Journey works and how it can help begin to break down racial barriers.
