History Workshop: Tavern Games

We are very excited about the recent opening of Barnard Tavern! Taverns served many functions in the 18th and early 19th centuries, offering lodging, food, and drink, as well as a place to socialize, hear the news from neighbors and travelers, and enjoy some entertainment. This summer we will be all about fun and games down at the History Workshop. Learn to play some popular board games, including related strategy games that are played around the world. Once you’ve learned to play, you can make your own 9 Men's Morris game to take home with you.
