Celebrate the Cutlery Workers of Lamson & Goodnow
The Shelburne and Buckland Historical Societies, in partnership with the Mill at Shelburne Falls, will honor those workers who made this area famous for their superior cutlery. We encourage you to bring any photos or memorabilia that you may have for display on the day of the event (details to follow). The building will be open for the setup of memorabilia before the official program begins.
The Program will include:
- A guided tour of the restored facility
- A panel of individuals with stories about working at Lamson&Goodnow
- Photographs and displays
- An official proclamation recognizing the day and the importance of the industrial heritage it represents from elected officials.
