Day of Mourning & Giving Thanks

Here's the deal: Every day at Stone Soup Café is a day of giving thanks. But on this particular Thanks Giving Day we specifically honor Indigenous resistance while we share a delicious meal that truly welcomes everyone.

We pause all food preparations at 12pm to watch a live stream of the National Day of Mourning in the All Souls sanctuary. At 1pm, we share a buffet-style meal downstairs in the Café Dining Room! The buffet-style meal is a new addition this year, something we haven't done since 2019!

The meal is pay-what-you-can, with a suggested donation of $25 per meal. A portion of the proceeds is donated to local indigenous groups every year (Ohketeau and Nolumbeka).
