Fundamentals of Wind Energy
Th, 9/6-12/13 (no class 11/22), 5:00-7:50 pm. An introduction to the practice and theory of wind electric generation. Topics include homeowner, small/business, utility, interior, offshore, grid tied and off grid wind systems; mechanical and electrical components; economic viability; environmental, aesthetic and safety concerns; and laws and permits.
