The Price of Race and Racism; Rape, racism and the real cost of food
Presenter: Strong Oak, Executive Director and Founder of the Visioning B.E.A.R. Circle Intertribal coalition and co-author of the Walking in Balance with All Our Relations curriculum, a violence prevention bystander approach based on traditional values of indigenous people. Designed to reclaim historical ways of being in community, it can also re-indigenize multicultural groups seeking an understanding of how structural racism has impacted all of our communities.
