Wildlife in Winter
Join educator Laura Beltran for a family adventure exploring wildlife in winter at Northfield Mountain Recreation and Environmental Center. How do animals survive the winter? What adaptations help them stay warm? How do they find food? Games, activities and outdoor play will ensure a fun time for all ages, adults and children alike. Together, families will search for signs of wildlife on snowshoes (snow permitting) or on foot to discover what animals are active in Northfield’s fields and forests. If we are open for skiing, snowshoes are required.
