FCCC February Breakfast Series Program with Jim McGovern
Join us for breakfast with U.S. Congressman Jim McGovern. Congressman McGovern was elected to the House of Representatives in 1996.
In 2013, Congressman McGovern’s district expanded west as a result of redistricting to include parts of Hampshire and Franklin counties.
In 2001, he was appointed to a seat on the House Rules Committee, “the traffic cop of Congress” which sets the terms for debate on most legislation. Congressman McGovern is fierce human rights advocate with a focus on ending hunger at home and abroad.
